The PTRS, a Russian anti-tank rifle designed by Simonov, was developed urgently in 1941 due to Red Army's need for a portable and affordable weapon against tanks. Produced alongside the Degtyarov PTRD rifle, it played a significant role in Soviet infantry during the Great Patriotic War's early stages, despite being manufactured in smaller quantities due to its complex construction. The PTRS fired 14.5mm armor-piercing projectiles that could penetrate up to 40mm of steel at 100 meters. By 1942, rapid German armored advancements rendered these rifles obsolete, but they continued to be used as support equipment until the end of the war and saw action in Korea. The 3D model of this weapon has 4875 tris, 2669 polygons, and 2664 vertices, created using Blender 3D with a 1024x1024 texture.
