PTFE Tubing clip
thingiverse
When I encountered an issue with a mangled reel that destroyed my printer during an overnight print job, I had to thoroughly repair all the damage and reassemble everything from scratch. One of the components I consistently broke while working on the fix was the tiny clips used to secure 4mm PTFE tubing in place. This item is a replacement clip designed to address this problem. To use it, simply slide the clip over the PTFE tube, fully insert the tube into the clip, and then push the clip inward to hold the tubing firmly in place. When you need to remove it, pull the clip outwards, which releases the tube and allows for easy removal. However, if the clip gets stuck and you have large or hairy hands, it can break, requiring a new one. I designed this replacement clip using PLA material, taking into account some shrinkage that may occur once it cools down completely. For small, delicate components like this, it's highly recommended to use a raft and a brim when printing to minimize the risk of damage or loss during the print process.
