A mounting system secures the PTFE tube fitting to a sturdy 2020 extrusion. The other end, attached to your direct drive extruder, ensures constant tension on the filament, preventing print head tugs that cause underextrusion.\r\n\r\nUPDATE: Version 4 introduces a recess for an additional fitting to incorporate a second, 1-2 inch long piece of teflon tube. Filament binding within the block was causing failed prints. This updated design also features a countersink for M5x10 socket head cap screws.
