To use a Makerbot thermal barrier, heated barrel, and nozzle on a RepRap 2.0 pinchwheel extruder, secure it without a large washer and long cap screws by utilizing this innovative retainer part. This part encases the thermal barrier, preventing movement or bulging. Print it in Polycarb on an FDM Titan, alongside gluing in PTFE for added mechanical attachment. Attach with two M5 90mm cap screws through the extruder block, base, and retainer.
