PTFE Lock Clip

PTFE Lock Clip

I made the clip very slightly thicker, and I believe it's a clear improvement. The locking mechanism on top of the hot end secures the PTFE tube in place, preventing it from slipping out. However, this lock only takes effect when it is lifted away from the hot end; when it's down, the tube becomes unlocked. The frequent ejection and retraction of the filament during printing can cause the PTFE tube to become loose if it isn't locked into position. To keep the lock working properly, a small clip is placed between the hot end and the locking collar. This small, easy-to-print component can save trouble in the future. You can purchase them from Bondtech or simply print your own using PETG.
