I had an enclosure before I got the Multi Color addon. Several issues required workarounds. I raised the chamber and created sideplates for the 3mm plexiglass (note: height is not standard raisers height, check before printing). I also encountered a problem with feeding the filament to the Extruders as effectively as possible. This method has been my best solution so far. If you have a better approach, please share it. The filament is fed from the bottom, which makes loading slightly inconvenient but I didn't want anything on the back of the case. I designed four parts for this: - A tube guides the PTFE tube through the bottom of the case. - A tube holder keeps it to the back of the case. - A corner guides the PTFE towards the extruders. - A funnel at the bottom fits the PTFE tube, guiding the filament to the PTFE hole. I ensured all clamps are loose enough so they don't pinch the PTFE tube. With these mods, everything is printing well with ABS/PLA and other materials.
