Cutting a precise 45-degree chamfer on PTFE by hand is no easy feat, but I found a simple setup that made it possible for me to achieve professional-grade results. The first step involves creating a flat end on one side of the tube using a cutting guide. Once this is done, the guide is inserted into a specialized chamfer cutting guide, and an exacto knife or similar blade is carefully positioned while rotating the PTFE until the desired 45-degree angle is achieved. After that, both guides are used in tandem to precision-cut the PTFE at exactly 50mm, a length commonly used in the MK2 and MK2S models.
