<h2>Psyche Spacecraft Model</h2> This is a "remix," a modification to the referenced Psyche Mission Spacecraft model that was originally posted by PsycheMission. Edits added the four science instruments (Gamma Ray Spectrometer, GRS, Neutron Spectrometer, NS, Magnetometers, MAG, Multispectral Imager, IMG) and the DSMs which comprise the electric ion propulsion system.* Also added the DSOC aperture with baffle, part of the experimental Deep Space Optical Communications system, in alignment with the High-Gain Antenna dish, HGA. Spacecraft axes are illustrated. Solar array wings attach through the body so they can be rotated. Scale is approximately 1:50. The simplicity of the design is maintained for ease of printing on FDM 3D printers -- likely the sort you have at your facility -- with default printer settings. Each of the files can probably print with "Rafts" turned off, and "Support Structure" turned off in the software you use to "slice" before printing. This version has been printed on a Raise3D Pro2 using IdeaMaker slicing software, and on the Dremel DigiLab 3D45 using the Digilab slicer. Connect the wings through the body using ABS glue or Cyanoacrylic (CA) glue as appropriate to your material. Take great care not to glue the wings immobile; apply glue while holding at an angle that keeps glue away from the spacecraft body. See photos section for a solar-cell pattern to download; print ten copies and glue onto the wings.
