This is a geared version of the model of the asteroid Psyche! Video of it in action here: https://youtu.be/Rr6EFCilcxE Derived from Emmett Lalish's outstanding Three Heart Gears. What's in the box: Psyche_Gears_All_Parts_Scaled.stl This is an arranged printable model with all parts required. For a quick print, this is probably what you are looking for. Scale up/down as needed for your printer, although this size is probably at the lower end of what could be printed. Psyche_Gears.scad The OpenSCAD code in case you want to tweak or revise (NB: You must have Psyche_10k_100mm.stl in the same folder for this to work!) Psyche_Gears_Pin.stl Parametric snap pins (8 required) Psyche_Gears.stl The assembled model. Included for reference, as building this without it would be extremely tricky! Psyche_10k_100mm.stl A new low-poly version of the original Psyche model with only 10k triangles to keep OpenSCAD rendering times sane. Print instructionsLicence: Creative Commons - Attribution - Share Alike Category: Physics & Astronomy Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: i3 MK2S Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 15% Filament: Prusament PLA Silver Notes: As Psyche is thought to be mostly made of iron-nickel, a silvery metallic filament is advised!
