PSVR Stand
thingiverse
My personally crafted PlayStation VR stand was designed with sleek style and functionality in mind. Its tilted headband bracket and forehead rest are positioned at a precise angle, ensuring the VR sits level and facing straight when strapped on. Four countersunk holes in the base accommodate small rubber pads that can be glued into them for limited sliding on smooth surfaces. The distance from forehead rest to rear strap bracket is slightly larger than the diameter of the inside headset strap, guaranteeing the VR remains firmly in place at rest. Constructed with 30% infill and three shells, this design prevents cracking when self-threading screws and allows for room for sanding and painting if desired. Enjoy and share my design to spread the word – this is the only singular stand made specifically for display purposes. I hope you appreciate my creation and happy printing to all of you! Special thanks go to username Neovista49 for uploading the PlayStation VR logo, which I used as the side decal – it's amazing! Print Settings Printer: Raise N2 Plus Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20mm Infill: 30% Notes: Feel free to experiment with various print settings depending on your printer's capabilities, but always maintain three shells to prevent cracking inside the screw holes. How I Designed This I opted for a 30% infill for a solid structure and three shells to ensure the stand doesn't crack when self-threading screws. You'll need two 1/8 inch thread width screws with 1/4 inch round head on top – specific screws are not required, but any screws that can hold firm the top to the base given the hole sizes will suffice.
