PSVR Spectacle Shield - Remix

PSVR Spectacle Shield - Remix

This is a small piece to print (twice) for affixing to your PSVR for people who wear glasses. This is thought to help reduce scratches on the PSVR lenses (and your glasses?).

Why the remix? I wanted smoother lines, different fillets, and to be able to potentially adjust the dimensions. The fastest way for me to do this was to re-build the model in Fusion 360. I've included a Fusion 360 export.

Note: the jpg picture showing the PSVR and 3d print I borrowed from Stoney. I will take my own picture after printing and installing.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.20mm

Infill:

20%

Filament: Hatchbox PLA, 1.75 Yellow Post-Printing =============

I attached these inside the PSVR with some small double-sided foam dots.

How I Designed This

I imported Stoney's .stl into Fusion 360 and used it as a reference to build my own model. The sizing of the various features are (currently) roughly the same.

Category: Video Games
