PSU Dust Filter Mesh/Grid
prusaprinters
This is a dust filter designed for the Prusa PSU, that is installed (horizontally) to the bottom of a printer enclosure, like the PrinterBox by PrusaBox to protect it from dust. You need four 8x4 or 8x3 magnets. Use superglue to fix them. You should have a well leveled print bed to get good results. This print uses the whole width of your bed.If you fear a bad quality, then use the splitted model file instead. Using this file you'll need eight magnets instead of four. Print both parts in two sessions.Warning:This dust filter reduces the airflow significantly, which means the PSU could overheat. If you use a PrusaBox by PrinterBox, I definitely recommend an active cooling to suck hot air out / in. This one for example:https://www.printables.com/de/model/109530-prusa-box-psu-cooling-fan-bracketAnother good idea is to use my decoupling feets. They provide more "ground clearance" and therefore a bigger air flow.https://www.printables.com/de/model/114590-decoupling-feets-for-prusa-box-by-printer-boxIn any case monitor your PSU. If it gets too hot, remove this dust filter, but if you use it check the filter regularly and clean it.Dimensions: 250 mm x 117.5 mm x 6 mmPrint without skirt.
