The female connector can be securely attached to the cover after installing the wiring. For the switched mains socket, I used one similar to these Amazon listings: https://www.amazon.de/Kaltger%C3%A4te-Anschlu%C3%9Fdose-Sicherung-Schalter-Netzanschlu%C3%9F-Joy-Button/dp/B00ZCMOIYA To fasten the socket, I used a pair of 3.5x10mm countersunk self-tapping screws. This cover will fit most Chinese 12V 360 or 480W power supplies that measure 50 x 115mm in size. Update: 2018-04-03 - Changed the sidewalls of the PSU cover to provide more room for internal wiring.
