PSP Go Grip Xbox style

After snagging a cheap deal on eBay with the intention of getting my emulator game going, I found myself neglecting it for over a year due to the cramped controls that clashed with my large hands. However, after devouring a 10-hour playthrough of Castlevania: SotN, I decided to address some of my complaints and ease the strain on my fingers. After two failed designs, I finally got into my stride and created a game cradle for my PSP Go that closely approximates an Xbox controller design. The controller portion isn't a direct replica of a 360 controller; instead, it's based on reference material for the core dimensions to ensure a similar feel. However, I made some adjustments for personal preference to make the new control locations as comfortable as possible. Printing is relatively straightforward and requires a build volume of (160x110x100) inches. You can either print it in two slices for speed and accuracy or go solid if you're feeling confident. A 10% infill and layer height of 0.2-0.3mm will suffice, depending on your post-processing plans. Epoxy finishers will help cover the larger gaps created by thick layers. Before assembly, be sure to print with a small amount of support under the bottom clip on the top half. To assemble the game cradle: 1. Use four 10mm M3 screws to center and clamp the two halves together, then apply glue. 2. Remove the screws once the glue has set. 3. Apply an additional clamp to the bridging section containing the thread inserts for the latch. You'll need a few small hardware pieces: two M3 machine screws and two M3 thread inserts. Simply glue the thread inserts into their corresponding spots when assembling the halves. I strongly recommend finishing, sanding, or using XTC-3D on the game cradle to significantly improve its feel after extended use. When opening and closing the screen, pay attention to the top latch clicking off; simply press lightly on the back of the grip and front of the PSP to snap it back into place. Make sure to sand the top ridges of the clip smooth and beveled after printing to prevent unnecessary wear on the casing when opening and closing it. Although you shouldn't need to unscrew the latch every time you remove the PSP, it's a likely point of failure, so I designed it to be easily replaceable.
