PSOne MemCarDuino Memory Card Case

PSOne MemCarDuino Memory Card Case

thingiverse

This is a straightforward project I created for the MemCarDuino, which essentially merges a DexDrive with an Arduino Nano powered USB port. A DexDrive, for those unfamiliar, reads PS1 memory cards and enables you to transfer saved games between your PC and console, or vice versa. This allows you to start a game on your console and seamlessly resume through emulation. I plan to simplify this design by removing the controller port component entirely, but I lent my dremel to someone who claimed to have returned it, so I ended up ordering a new one from Amazon instead. That will result in a distinct model altogether. This was my first project where I actually sketched out the design myself, so I felt a sense of accomplishment - even though it's essentially minimal at this stage.
