Pseudo Duplin pendant

Pseudo Duplin pendant

thingiverse

I experimented with K3DSurf software to create a pendant from a mathematical equation. I selected a pseudo Duplin design as it looked great without needing additional ring or hanging mechanism. I blogged about this project at http://32b.it/?p=242 and http://32b.it/?p=366. It was also part of the workshop on "Low-cost 3D Printing for Science, Education and Sustainable Development" held at ICTP, Trieste, Italy from May 6th to 8th (http://sdu.ictp.it/3D/book.html). The pendant is available for purchase in various colors of PLA on Shapeways (http://shpws.me/nRs9) and in gold-plated steel through the same platform. I personally printed this design using a Replicator and an Ultimaker 3D printer.
