A model designed to replace a faulty 2-pin PSA type plug (AMP/Tyco "Junior power timer") connects via a blade crimp terminal slipped through the front portion and secured by the back portion. An optional back piece is provided for use with a sliver of metal and soldered wire. The model consists of two components: front and back. These parts are joined together securely when correctly assembled using adhesive. Front plugs directly into the socket while Back holds the wire firmly in place. Two different back pieces are available: One designed specifically for RS components part number 534-654 (crimp blade terminal) The other for simple slivers of metal with soldered wires. Not yet tested, and dimensions appear to be slightly loose. Hopefully not too loose. Use with caution is advised, but no problems are anticipated with the model's performance. Updates will follow when the model is successfully completed and functional.
