I wanted to be able to pile my games without a wall mount and also have the ability to increase the height when I had more games. This design lets you stack it for single or dual boxes, but I do not think you can get over three layers of games without compromising the balance of the tower. The "double stack no support" like the name says should print without support due to the "arch", but I cannot guarantee it until I try.
