Instead of following Sony's boring HDD size limitations, shuck a 15mm height 6TB portable hard drive and shove it in the PS4 using this kit. Counting on a price-per-gig basis, that is the cheapest option in terms of storage. You need to cut off part of the PS4's shielding limiting the hard drive's height, as well as the top of the original drive caddy. Don't worry, the HDD support will hold your drive safely in place even though your caddy's top has been chopped off.
