PS4 dualshock remote bracket for Galaxy S5 with flipcover
thingiverse
I made a set of files very similar to the originals, modifying only the device bracket to accommodate a Galaxy S5 with its flip-cover case perfectly secured. Please note that I deliberately designed the phone holding section to be quite snug so it doesn't fall over, however, it does cause my leather case to scratch a bit more than usual. If you prefer a looser fit, I would recommend increasing the depth and height of the top clips by 1mm or even more. The bottom clips are nice and tight, but because they're made from flexible leather flaps, they don't pull too much when you remove them. To ensure everything fits smoothly together, I've shared my Sketchup file online, however there's one strange bug I noticed - the "blank" item I imported from an STL file won't stretch correctly until I build on it first. Don't worry though, this bug only affects the way it looks in Sketchup; once assembled, everything works as expected. The holes for securing bolts can fit 1/8th (3.18mm) fasteners snugly, but they might require a bit of persuasion to seat them properly - I find that inserting and removing the bolt from each hole five times helps prevent any unnecessary stress on the parts during assembly.
