I've taken on this project and created a new back piece with improved functionality. It now comes in three separate parts that need to be assembled together for optimal use. The upgraded design provides added strength and a more comfortable overall feel when held against the controller. The hinge makes it effortless to put the mount on or take it off, ensuring stability throughout. For assembling the hinge, you can use a 1.75mm pin with a diameter between 2mm and Ø20mm in length. Simply melt one end of the filament, then deform the ring slightly until it fits through the hole, and push firmly until it clicks into place. Repeat this process for the other side. To complete the back piece assembly, you'll need to bend it slightly at the top to fit through the holes on the front piece. For the final step, insert a medium-sized rubber band between the top and front pieces. Enjoy your gaming experience! UPDATE 27/04/20 I've redesigned the front part for improved ergonomics in the hand area. It's now easier to press the share and options buttons without accidentally triggering the touchpad. This updated design allows you to use the touchpad as intended. To update, simply reprint the new front piece using the file "front_NEW.stl." The old version is still available if you prefer it.
