PS4 Controller PCB Adapter

So, I have this bad habit of buying broken PS4 Dual Shock controllers that are not working. They are generally not hard to fix. But one thing I keep finding myself doing is putting them back together only to find out I didn't quite get them working right.  I generally test them with a computer first, as that is the easiest thing to test them with to make sure all the buttons and sticks are working normally. I had a flaky charging port that you had to forcibly hold the cord into the controller to get it to work.Combined the two irritating problems and made some lemonade out of the lemons. I decided to make a dedicated USB cord using that temperamental PCB. There are two plastic clamps to hold the cords in place. Lid has a cutout so you can see the LED when the controller is linked/charging. Whole thing was made to be assembled with laptop screws or the crappy coarse thread screws that are used in all the injection molded stuff these days.  I ended up using the coarse thread because I had them lying about. Assemble the PCB with a similar diameter screw/head to the original in the controller to prevent damage. The ribbon cable is easier to install onto the board before you install the board. But it can be done after too. Then install the clamping bar.  (Tip: You can easily get longer flat ribbon cables then the ones the controller has stock. Look on amazon, ebay, ect. for ribbon cables. If memory serves me, they are 12 pad/wires and .5 pitch. Still waiting on mine to show up. The stock ones are kind of awkward to test with while holding the controller, as it holds the enclosure to close to the controller body. )Install the USB cord and hold it in place while you tighten the clamp.This specific model has cutouts to fit the JDM-055 charge/link board, which as far as I know is the most recent version. (Also most of the ones I have seen are these.) There are differences from board to board. So be weary of trying to make it fit any other model of boards. (There are tiny SMD components on the charge board. I have made clearance holes for them. Other boards may crush the SMDs against the case if you attach it.)
