PS4 Camera V2 Wall Mount
prusaprinters
I was sick of the tracking issues I was getting when using my PSVR so I decided to create a wall mount which would allow the camera to be mounted up high to get a better view of the tracking balls on the PSMove controllers.Printing RecommendationsAll models are already in their optimal printing orientation.Nozzle Size: 0.4mmLayer Height: 0.2-0.32mmPerimeters: 3-4Infill: GyroidInfill Percentage: 10-20%Supports: NoHardware2x 10x2mm (diameter x thickness) Rubber O-ringsInstructionsThe camera slots into the holder as shown in the images. The holder also has a cable routing channel on the inside allowing the cable to come neatly down for better cable management. You will have to slide the cable in first before slotting in the camera. Depending on your printer tolerances the camera might be a tight fit.The holder rotates on a pin using two o-rings. These O-rings need to be lubricated otherwise the rotating motion won't be smooth at all and it will be almost impossible to slide the pin in due to the o-rings trying to spin in place. For lubrication, I just used simple PTFE-based synthetic grease (I used this Super Lube product). Put a generous amount on the O-ring and the pin. If done right, it should be very easy to slide the pin in and out, if not, apply more grease. For mounting to the wall, I used command strips. I've had it mounted for a few weeks with no problem. If you want you can remix this to add holes to the base so you can securely attach this to the wall.DownloadIn addition to the 3MF files, the project's step file and fusion 360 file is also included.
