PS4 Analog Stick Extension

PS4 Analog Stick Extension

thingiverse

This is my first custom extension for the analog stick on the PS4. I've created many for the PS3, some successful, others not. I even machined a durable aluminum version with interchangeable tops! -Update V1.1- Reduced the size of clips at the bottom for easier removal. Added a chamfer to the bottom edge for better clearance. I didn't need printing support on my makerbot replicater+ for some reason, but I would still recommend using supports. This works much better than my old PS3 versions because the top of the PS4 stick is flat, making it easier to model since you don't have to match a curve perfectly. This extension is super grippy and I love my homemade versions more than any store-bought ones. They also print in just 15 minutes! Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator+ Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 10% Notes: You need support for the concave where the stick fits. I haven't tried printing upside down, but the details are so fine and removing support material would be hard. I've printed with 5 shells, effectively solid since it's so small.
