PS3 Eye Mount for Ender 3 (v2)
thingiverse
I recently uploaded an updated version of my object to Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3320624), which now attaches securely to the horizontal gantry. This redesign improves stability significantly, eliminating the wobbling caused by a broken fan blade in the previous model. The arm of the camera now rests firmly on the build plate, eliminating the annoying rattling sound that plagued my earlier setup. I've created this new design with practicality in mind, focusing on usability rather than optimal timelapse footage quality. Let's be honest – you're not investing in high-end equipment like this $6 camera for timelapse purposes; it serves as a makeshift mobile monitor instead. This version of the mount offers several key improvements over its predecessor. It now securely snaps onto the 40/40 rail, eliminating the need for tools or screws. Additionally, strategically placed holes facilitate easy cable management using ties.
