PS3 Eye Mount for Ender 3 (v2)
cults3d
My last version of this object (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3320624) hooked onto the horizontal gantry. I didn't much care for this. One of the blades of my hot end fan broke off and introduced wobbling. Having the arm of the camera hanging off the gantry exacerbated the wobbling... and made an annoying rattling sound. I have redesigned the mount to stand on the left side of the build plate instead. It's probably not as good for timelapse footage, but let's be serious here: you're not using a 13 year old $6 camera that only records in 480 to do timelapse footage. You're using this camera as a quick and dirty mobile monitor. Unlike the last version, this design snaps onto the 40/40 rail. No unscrewing or tools required; just enough force to snap it onto the rails. There are also several holes to facilitate cable ties.
