PS3 Eye Camera support for Anycubic 4Max Pro
thingiverse
This is a support for the PS3 Eye Camera specifically designed for the Anycubic 4Max Pro, but this concept can be adapted to fit any other printer. The original case of the camera has been removed, along with the microphones, in order to free up space. The camera is now mounted on the plate support and will move in sync with the Z-axis. To replicate this setup, you'll need to print three specific parts: 1x PCB Mount 1x Hook 2x Middle Arm Do not attempt to print the "PS3 Eye Mount v13.stl" file as it's only a 3D model assembly reference. Use a layer height of either 0.1mm or 0.2mm, with 10% zigzag infill. Don't forget to add Brim support - around 10 lines should be sufficient. Since the hook model already has built-in support, there's no need for additional support structures. Assembly requires three M3x20mm machine screws and nuts. Attach the printed PCB Mount to the original PS3 Eye PCB using the camera's original screws. When assembling the hook, start by attaching it from behind (underneath) before mounting the final arm in place. First, attach the smaller hook in front, then secure the larger hook as the last step. The assembly should "click" into place smoothly. Before printing, make sure to adjust the mount so that the print head doesn't collide with the camera. If you're using OctoPrint, you'll need to flip the image because the camera is mounted upside-down.
