PS2 Fan Adapter 60mm
thingiverse
I wasnt able to find a adapter I liked for fitting a new fan to my PS2 so I just created one myself, I used the screw plates from [TheJeffChen](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4683479) design and just removed everything else that I did not need. This should fit most 60x60x15mm fan. I think the screw holes may need to be moved over, but for the most part it should just be a drop in replacement, It does not interfear with any of the internals of the system. There is another design by [Proszty](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4931371) that simply holds the fan in place but I personally do not like the idea of it being able to freely move about. But it is a simple and faster print than my design. Originally I had 2 designs 1 that had a "hook" to hold loose cable from the fan, but I couldnt figure out where to put it where it would allow the case to close cleanly, If i ever figure out a way to do this I'll upload that file too. Sadly I can not tell you how well this actually works as I have not been able to test it since I need to findout what the connector is for the PS2 fan to make an adapter, as I do not wish to sacrifice my still working PS2 fans incase I ever need to use them for another system with a dead/dying fan. I tested fitting with a gelid silent 6 fan and everything seemed to fit well. This is a 12v fan I plan to see if I can come across a 4-5v fan thats performs aswell as original and silent enough for my liking.
