This is the latest iteration of my PS2 Controller Addon. Previous version: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3279690 It flips more smoothly than its predecessor over the controller. Several enhancements have been made, outlined below in a list highlighting both advantages and disadvantages: Pros: - Ample space within for cables and gadgets - A large color display with touch functionality - No need to open the controller; I recommend removing the vibration motors for optimal performance - Space is provided for a fast esp32 chip with numerous free pins available - Easier assembly process - A potentiometer has been added for loudness regulation - The new stand eliminates wobbling Cons: - The esp32 requires slightly more energy - The display costs more than the previous, smaller one The following components have been integrated into my Controller: - An esp32 NodeMcu Dev Board serves as the main processor - An adafruit 2.4" TFT Display (https://www.adafruit.com/product/2478) has been utilized - A 18650 battery shield provides power - An hc-05 bluetooth chip enables bluetooth support - A small smd speaker is used to produce sounds - A potentiometer allows for loudness adjustment - A GY-521 gyroscope chip measures acceleration and orientation - An 8 RGB-LED-strip illuminates the area You can view a demonstration on Youtube: https://youtu.be/TYSzUVZuwU0
