PS2 Base

I still fire up my trusty PS2 slim as a DVD player in 2020, despite knowing it's an outdated move. For years, I've balanced it precariously against my Wii to keep it cool, making mental promises to build a custom base for it later. It's now been 14 years and three PS2 slims since I made that vow, with each upgrade leading me further away from keeping my promise. But when the time came to replace my TV, I was finally motivated enough to take action. With my new 3D printers at my disposal, there was no longer an excuse for putting off this project. I designed a custom base that fits snugly between the rubber feet of my PS2 slim, with a hole in the bottom allowing me to screw it securely into place. My Ender3 printer handled the job with ease, printing the design upright without needing any support. The fit should be tight and secure, holding my beloved console firmly in place. I could have easily browsed Thingiverse for an existing PS2 stand, but where's the fun in that?
