In these challenging times as Automation and Robotics students, we decided to make available for everyone an optimized protective helmet model. The height of the model has been reduced by 15 mm compared to the most popular PRUSA RC3 model, allowing us to save material and reduce printing time. We are just starting our journey with 3D printing, but we were able to print this model in decent quality in 38 minutes using a 0.8mm nozzle. In this model, we opted for simplicity and speed, using materials available to everyone (reusable glue sticks, 0.2mm thick binding foil, office punch and scissors). Another interesting model is the mask strap holder, which relieves our ears. You can scale it up in any slicer to fit your head size. We recommend using it even for long-term wearing of helmets.
