A retro record player with rotating vinyl as a motor rotation visualizer. This model consists of 4 parts, all of them can be printed without supports by orienting faces to the bed.

You will need a 8x5 mm magnet or two 8x3 mm magnets.

On my printer (Elegoo Neptune 2) it cannot be positioned on a nice visible spot sadly.

→PRINT TIPS:

>The vinyl can be printed in two colors with normal printers by adding a “pause at height” script. If you slice it with 0.12 layer height and 0.2 initial layer height you can pause it at layer 13 and swap your filament.

>If you print with concentric Top/Bottom layers you will improve the look of the vinyl plate.

>The recessed bottom hole is intentionally shallow and if you print with the previous tip it will mark where to place and glue the magnets.

>Print with 3 perimeters as the walls of the record player are 1.2 mm thick.

>Face orientation when printing:

→ Vinyl: As per .stl file.

→ RecordPlayer: Select the top face so that the thin walls point up.

→ Needle: Select top face to orient with the bed so the cylinder points up.

→ Horn: Widest part of horn face down on the bed.
