Prusament Spool "Hidden Easter Egg" Clock
prusaprinters

So ive been saving empty prusament spools for some time wondering what I can make out of them and then Josef gave me a great idea with the new contest he launched ‘Timekeepers’

I wanted to add a little twist to the basic clock by adding the hidden Easter egg found on the cardboard of Josef Prusa saying “Still Hungry Get More”

All the objects are split into individual pieces so there is no need for MMU or colour change at layer height. Just print all the pieces in the colours of your choice and glue them together, I have allowed for 0.20mm tolerances so don’t worry if your machine isnt finely tuned.

The numbers are to be glued to the Prusament Spool.

For the clock mechanism I used a silent quartz clock with a 2.2cm shaft. The kit I purchased came with a variety of hands and also a wall mounting bracket. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08PFVJ9HW?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details

Once you have glued all of Josefs face together it is then held in place with the clock mechanism and the screw. Glueing is not necessary as the spacer clamps the mechanism and Josef to the Spool.

For the second hand I shaped a piece of 1.75mm filament and glued it to the hand.

The Total print time at 0.20mm layer height should only take 2h30m and there is no need for supports
