Prusa3d MK2S / MK2.5 front leg
thingiverse
I purchased my Prusa3D in 2015. Currently upgrading to the MK2S and MK2.5, I discovered that the Y-axis construction is one centimeter shorter than current printers at thirty-four centimeters instead of thirty-five. To accommodate this new length for my updated rods, I modified the front legs, which may require the LCD holders to also be extended by one centimeter. There was a direct impact on my Y belt as well, causing it to become shorter for standard MK2S holders. I used an updated MK3 holder found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3135189. I spent considerable time with Prusa3D's support engineer, who quickly grasped the issue and sent me accurate spare Y screw rods so that I could properly fit my new rods in place. Thanks to Prusa3D for their assistance.
