After upgrading my Prusa MK2.0 to MK2.5 with translucent filament, I encountered an issue where the right Z-rod was sliding up and down freely. This might also be caused by the camera holder I added to the X-axis at the same time. I obtained the original MK3 Z Axis holders from Prusa's Git repository (https://github.com/prusa3d/Original-Prusa-i3/tree/MK3/Printed-Parts/stl). Installing the Z rod stabilizer resolved this problem instantly. The installation process is relatively straightforward - the holes are a bit tight, so it's best to slide the rod through several times before installing. Applying some grease also helps. To complete the upgrade, you will need the following screws: * 4x DIN912 M3x16 (which replace the original M3x10 screws on the motor holder) * 2x DIN912 M3x8 * 2x M3 square nuts The update has significantly increased stability, and the Z-rods no longer move freely. The printer is also noticeably quieter overall.
