After many years of printing I noticed my Y axis idler pulley starting to click and upon further investigation I noticed that the inner race had come out of round (or issues with the sealed bearings). I decided to do a proper upgrade by changing the bolt to a 3mm shoulder bolt so the inner race isn't riding on threads as well as printing spacers to help keep the inner race stationary (as best as possible) so the bearings could do their job. McMaster-Carr Bolt P/N: 91273A331 NOTES: -I noticed that the pulleys I purchased from Prusa (2023_ are slightly different than the ones that shipped with my printer in 2018. -Bottoms of spacers may need to be cleaned up as they are designed to be a relatively tight fit. These spacers are designed this way to help make them easier to install sine they are somewhat self centering and they will help reduce the amount of dust that ends up in your bearings and races.
