To enhance my Prusa X-Carriage's stability, I laser-cut a large adapter plate from 3/16" plywood. The plate offers increased contact area with the carriage and allows firm tightening of mounting screws without causing flex or binding. Vibration in the extruder significantly reduced after installation. To assemble, insert GrooveMount hot end into the keyhole's large side, rotate wires to the large side, and snap groove into the narrow side of the keyhole.
