To enhance printer lighting, purchase white LEDs and current-limiting resistors (15 Ohm for a 3.3V supply). Utilize Solidworks to design and print holders, then wire the LEDs accordingly. Bend leads so they align and solder together down the line. Trim excess wire and attach to LED leads with heat-shrink tubing if available. Secure with zip ties for a fixed position. A digital multimeter can be used in LED mode to identify anode (positive voltage) and cathode (ground) connections; reverse polarity will result in unlit LEDs. Original Solidworks files are provided upon request.
