Prusa x Axis Stop

Prusa x Axis Stop

thingiverse

My friend Prusa lacked a critical component for his x-axis stop, so I took matters into my own hands and designed a simple flap to fill the gap. Fortunately, he had already created a similar solution by the time I finished working on mine, but I decided to share my design with the online community nonetheless. Unfortunately, I don't have any visual aids to demonstrate how it works since I don't personally own a Prusa printer, but the idea is to attach this flap directly to the heated bed itself. Initially, I thought this might not be the most effective approach, but Prusa had other plans and wanted to avoid mounting it to the plexiglass underneath due to additional work requirements. This led to the creation of my makeshift solution, which I'm now sharing with you. Feel free to use or disregard it as you see fit – your call! If you do decide to give it a try, please let me know how well it fits and any issues you might encounter.
