Prusa X axis end brackets with flanged nut for TR8
thingiverse
Upgrading my Prusa i2 Z axis to use TR8 lead screws effectively reduced wobble on the axis. To make this modification, I employed Eduardo Schoenocht's model as a starting point, which I had modified solely to incorporate TR8 lead screws. However, cantilever-supported idle bearings didn't appeal to me, so I introduced a bearing support structure in addition. The bearings are held securely by 15mm internal retainer rings; alternative retainer ring options like 5/8" might work, though it appears they could pose some difficulty, as evidenced by the provided images. Instructions I manufactured this component out of PLA without requiring any supports during printing.
