Prusa Steel Anti-Wobble For 8mm Z Axis, No bearings or screws
thingiverse
I'm trying to eliminate the frustrating Z wobble on my Prusa Steel build, but I couldn't find any bearings to fix the issue. The problem is that my Bowden extruder setup makes it impossible for me to print one of the bearing mounts. So, I decided to create a temporary solution. I strongly advise printing solid Z couplers as well. Keep in mind that this will be a very tight fit, so you'll need to adjust the scale until it just slips over the leadscrews and has minimal play between the leadscrew and the hole in the frame. In my case, it printed perfectly on my Ender 3 Pro without any adjustments needed, but your results may vary. I wouldn't recommend printing this on a Prusa Steel if you're experiencing Z wobble issues, as the banding/layer shifts could cause accuracy problems with the scale. If you don't have another printer, you can always just sand it down and file the inside to get a good fit.
