Prusa Spool holder
thingiverse
This is a spool holder that builds upon the original holder that comes with the Prusa I3 MK3S by design. I created this because I wanted to avoid drilling extra holes in my wall. The parts are bolt-on and don't require any tools except for an Allen key. The original spool holder simply slides onto the new one and stays in place due to friction, and when there's a spool hanging, it won't budge. *The print volume is slightly reduced in the Z-direction because it extends forward of the frame. I might redesign it to counteract that issue, but that's for future development.* Materials needed: 4X M5x12mm 4X M5 nut 4mm Allen/hex key 12.5M / 38g of 1.75mm filament are required. Total print time: 4.5 hours
