To create a plate that complements your MK1 heated bed, use the free EagleCAD software for measurement assistance. However, exporting DXFs can be tricky (accessible through File->Run->dxf.ulp). Simply download the files, print them, and connect wires to the printed plate for the cheapest heated bed possible!
