thingiverse
This is an arrangement of three Prusa RC2 face shields designed specifically to fit my Lulzbot Taz 5. I want to emphasize that this design does not belong to me. You must uncheck "Ensure Models Are Kept Apart" in Cura to successfully print these shields. To do this, navigate to Preferences > Configure Cura and look for the "Ensure..." option. For more information about the original file and this face shield design, please visit the Prusa Printers website at https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/25857-prusa-protective-face-shield-rc2. When producing these masks, safety and contamination concerns should be taken seriously. To handle prints in a clean and sanitary manner, it is essential to use PET-G as the ideal material. ______________________________________________________________________ Below are some critical guidelines for manufacturing shields for others: If you plan to manufacture face shields for people other than yourself, please read this information carefully. To minimize risk of transmission when collecting each batch of printed parts, act as if you were infected with COVID-19. Wear a face mask and fresh gloves before touching the prints. Store the parts immediately in a sealable bag. When distributing these shields to others, inform them about your manufacturing environment. Transparency is key in this situation. Although there is still debate about how long the virus survives on plastic, most sources suggest 2-3 days. Letting packed face shields sit for 2-3 days before distribution can significantly reduce transmission risk. To minimize cross contamination and prevent the spread of COVID-19, do not store the entire stock in one place. This simple precaution can greatly reduce the risk of infection.
