Alternate Mount for Prusa PSU on Ikea Lack Table. Less Material Used. Easy to Remove. Mounting Options: 1. My Prusa PSU has two 4mm holes, 65 mm apart, on the opposite side of the power connector and switch. I designed it to be attached to an Ikea Lack leg with minimal modifications. In this scenario, the PSU must be mounted off-center from the leg to allow clearance for the little tab on the bottom of the power supply that holds the mounting screws. The holes on my Prusa PSU have a depth of 5mm. Therefore, the screws used should not be too long. M5 10mm thread works perfectly with this design. The cones are a snug fit. I chose to print and then slightly sand the end to ensure a secure fit rather than printing it low and producing extra parts. After measuring the cone after sanding, it was about 0.1mm shorter. This discrepancy has been accounted for in the program and STL file. 3.5mm Wood Screws are used to attach the mount to the leg. Tips: * Print with at least 3+ perimeters. * Detect thin walls. * Examine the slicer results carefully before trusting that it can hold your Prusa PSU securely.
