The new Replicator-inspired extruder setup on the Replicator extruder has been replicated for use with Printrbot and generic RepRap-style machines. This unit is designed to fit a UBIS-style hot end, but can be easily modified to accommodate J head or other alternatives. It bolts directly onto a Prusa i3 and should work on most other generic Reprap-style devices, with minor adjustments. This design is an improvement over the previous iteration, featuring a redesigned extruder mount, filament guide, better spring mount, cleaner drawing, slightly tweaked lever, and a stronger shaft area around the 608ZZ bearing to prevent flexing and bending. Required components include a 608ZZ bearing, a sturdy spring, and M4 nuts and bolts with allen screws for attachment. The extruder now mounts on two M4 screws for improved firmness and durability over time. This is a heavily remixed version of this unit and offers significant improvements compared to the stock piece, making it a highly recommended option for use.
