Prusa PINDA Probe Calibration
thingiverse
I've battled Z axis errors on both my Prusa i3_MK2.5 and Prusa i3_MK3, determined to find a solution that works. The assembly guide's suggestion to use a plastic zip tie to set the PINDA height has proven to be less than effective, as its thickness can vary significantly and where you place it under the PINDA makes all the difference. Determined to overcome this hurdle, I designed and printed a simple calibration tool. After testing, I discovered that using the .7mm corner of the tool yields the most accurate results. Measuring .68mm on my caliper, I've found this setting to be a game-changer for achieving precise Z axis alignment.
