Prusa original motor - Bracket rotor - Protection rotor when removing
cults3d
When replacing a trapezoidal rod, take care not to damage the rotor. It's likely that the rotor is attached with epoxy glue, so be prepared for some material removal from its surface. To detach the rotor from the shaft, turn it both clockwise and counterclockwise. My bracket design allows for reuse by being intentionally longer. Printing brackets in multiple sizes is also a good idea. I found that a 0.5mm larger size fits me well, but other factors can affect this measurement.
