I secure the Prusa printer's chassis on a base plate using an 18 mm thick chipboard, fastening it with M5x35 bolts. Underneath the plate, self-locking M5 nuts are placed due to persistent vibrations. For the Original Prusa printer, 10 mm brackets are used, whereas Chinese copies like Anet employ 8 mm brackets - a detail that might be relevant for owners of similar printers, such as myself who own an Anet model. I utilize files labeled "middle" on my printers, while those with +/- symbols have been modified to increase height. To facilitate tightening the bolts, nut cases are employed; it's recommended to apply CA glue to the nuts for easier assembly. Instead of traditional legs, I use four kitchen sponges beneath the plate to prevent vibration transfer to the table.
