Prusa MMU2S Upgrade: Quick Bolt Handle
prusaprinters

Edit: I made a version for a 43mm long bolt instead of the 33mm bolt to give it more space and make it sturdier.

I was always wondering why the quickbolts aren't already part of the original mmu2s but we are makers so I made them myself. I used the tight fitting of the M3 handle by Remi-Rafael (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5532943) and designed a matching handle for the mmu2s around it.

My quick bolt upgrade for the Prusa MMU2s is easy to print, just use PLA with 0.2mm layer height and print them slow and one by one to strengthen the thin walls at the top.
Don't use PETG, I tried PETG and it broke off after some time. No problems with PLA so far.

Important: Leave a 1mm gap when scewing them in (as shown above) so the spring of the mmu can still move.

Feel free to comment, post your makes, or to improve my design.
